An AirTag is a great tracker for keys and bags. For a wallet, a card-shaped tracker is often the better fit. Here’s why.
Shape and fit
An AirTag is a round disc about 8 mm thick, so it creates a bulge in most wallets. A tracker card is the size of a bank card and slides into a card slot. ORYVEN cards are about 1.8 mm thin.
Battery
An AirTag uses a replaceable coin battery. ORYVEN cards are rechargeable on a wireless charging pad, so there are no batteries to buy or swap.
Phone compatibility
An AirTag only works with Apple devices. ORYVEN comes in three versions: one for iPhone (Apple Find My), one for Android (Google Find Hub), and a Dual-System card that works with either, one system at a time.
How finding works
Both use the same idea: no GPS, but nearby phones in the finding network report where the tracker was last seen, and you can play a sound when you’re close.
Which should you get?
For keys, a bag or luggage, an AirTag works well. For a wallet or passport holder, a slim tracker card fits better and doesn’t need battery changes. Compare ORYVEN models.
